Alexi Malikotsinas is a Partner at LEA Ventures. His focus is on founders who can find unique ways to bring their vision into the world and have the determination to push through uncertainty.

Alexi has spent close to a decade working with and investing in technology companies, with board experience across askui, enabl Technologies, and Daisytuner. His investments include i.e. Gendo, Daisytuner and Loki Robotics.

Alexi studied Business Information Systems and holds a Master’ in Controlling and Finance. Through those years he built data infrastructure for venture-funded e-commerce and for an embedded electronics manufacturer in the German automotive Mittelstand, before crossing to the investing side.

Maximilian Worms is an Analyst at LEA Ventures. His focus is on founders who challenge the status quo and rethink how hard problems get solved.

He has seen companies from every side, operating inside a startup, consulting on strategy, building ventures, and now investing. Over the past year in B2B deep tech, first at D11Z and now at LEA, he has sourced and run diligence on technically demanding companies across industries including robotics and physical AI, quantum and photonics.

Max holds a Master of Science in Strategy and Digital Business from ESCP in Berlin and Paris, and a World Bachelor in Business completed across Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Milan. He is British and German, and has studied and worked across three continents.

Martin Trenkle is Partner at LEA Ventures. He works with founders who think from first principles and make the big calls themselves.

He co-founded Workwise at 20 and ran it for ten years. The company grew profitably to €10M in revenue without outside capital before raising €20M from LEA and Armira Growth in 2021. Three years later, he moved to the board and started working with other founders at LEA.

Nils Seele is a Partner at LEA Ventures. His focus is on founders who have the grit to turn hard problems into category-defining companies.

He has spent more than a decade building and investing in technology companies, with board experience across Aleph Alpha, Flip, Codesphere, Assemblio, sevDesk, Workwise, Goya, Turn2X, Fiber Elements, and more. His investments include i.e. Black Forest Labs, Atlas Bio, midpage, and Q.ANT.

Nils holds a Master of Science in Information Systems. While still at university, he began productizing what is today known as forward-deployed engineering, before getting his first exposure to venture capital at Project A in Berlin.

Sara Schneider is Head of Operations at LEA Ventures. Her focus is operational excellence: the fund structures and processes that let the team move at maximum speed.

She has built systems inside a startup, inside big tech, and now inside a fund. Recruited by Amazon before graduating, she joined after her degree to advise fast-growing e-commerce startups in-house, and later built and led Amazon's global sales reporting structure.

Sara holds a degree in Business Informatics and returned to her university as a lecturer in computer science. She is currently working toward her pilot's license.

As an entrepreneurial investor, we support visionary founders and management teams of innovative companies in various stages of development in their growth and in achieving a leading market position.

Your tasks

- Deal sourcing
- Conducting trend, market, and competitive analyses
- Evaluating and analyzing start-ups and established companies in the tech sector
- Supporting investment processes (due diligence)
- Supporting the optimization and implementation of internal processes

Your profile

- Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable degree program
- Initial relevant practical work experience in the areas of VC, PE, management consulting, or start-ups
- Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Very good German and English skills
- Analytical thinker, structured "self-starter"
